Within the Phoenix office, we have a couple of DSMs who have been given the QDM Subject-Matter Expert designation. Acquiring my QDM Expert Certificate has allowed me to be able to step in and help them with various directives and initiatives. It is also beneficial, because it helps to keep my skills sharp.
